Can someone help me with identifying which Fiocchio hulls I have?
I have about 1000 Fiocchi hulls in my possession in execellent once-fired condition. I am a bit confused about the recipes and base wads. Most of the recipe books list 2 groups of data for Fiocchi hulls: 1) referred to as Target Hull (Purple) with high basewad; 2) all others with low basewad. I don't know how to tell whether I have low or high basewad. The depth of all the hulls measures 2 3/8".
The hulls are almost translucent, a very light blue or purple, low brass and are all labeled as Fiocchi with one of the following lables on the side: Trap, Low-Recoil, Spredder, or Whiterhino. Because of the color, I think I have the Target hulls, but am not certain. Are any of the high basewad hulls similar to purple in color?
CAn anyone offer assistance? Thanks.

James,
Thanks for the feedback on the Fiochhi hulls. Can I assume from your answer that the hulls that I have that are labeled as "Trap", "Low-Recoil", or "Spredder" (all of these are the translucent light purple color) are the so-called Target Hulls (thus high basewad).
The hulls listed as "Whiterino" look identical in every way to the above listed hulls. Would they also be Target?
Are any of the "Hunting" (high basewad) hulls purpleish in color and is this the most obvious way to idenitify Target hulls?
Again, Thanks for the useful info. It really helps to have a knowledgeable person to provide advice.
