Alright, I got the first post! So I guess I need to say something...

If you had to choose only one to do the rest of your life, would you rather...

Hunt Spring Turkey
Or
Fall/winter hunt Pheasant

Probably neither. I would hunt waterfowl, but wild turkeys would be second.

i would rather hunt Fall Pheasants. I camped around Jetmore City Lake the second week of November 2008. That was fall but with the wind it sure felt like winter. Boy is sure is windy in Kansas for an ole boy from Mississippi. We wound up driving to Trego County and hunting the last 3 days. The very last flush brought about 2 dozen roosters out of the cut grain into a thicket at an old homestead. We did get an 8 point with the truck the 3rd night and some quail. Boy it sure is windy.

Where is a good place to rent a cabin around Trego County? Anyone know anything about the cabins at Cedar Bluff Reservoir?

I don't know why you asked about these two, judging by the avatar and where you live, there are plenty of Jayhawks to go after. So I'm not that funny but welcome.
