Took off old pad from 870 wood stock, and the screws for the new pad don't line up just right...how do I drill new screw holes right next to the old ones w/out stripping the holes out?? It's only off a little bit.thanks!!:rolleyes

one way is to get some wood glue.. and a piece of wood that is about the same diameter of the old hole. Put some glue in the old screw holes.... and jamb the little piece of wood in the screw holes and cut off the excess, let it dry up for 30 mins or so .. and then drill your new holes... hope that helps.. anybody have any other ideas?????GO LEAFS GO !!!!!!!!! :rollin berettaguy
