Welcome to SGW. There is one cross pin towards the back of the bolt body that holds in the firing pin. To remove the cross pin, push the back of the firing pin foward and tap the bolt body (left side) in your hand and the cross pin will fall into your hand. Then slowely let the firing pin out of the back of the bolt body because it's under spring tension.

Thanks for the info. Worc and the welcome, longtime lurker 1st time poster. The pin to hold the firing pin in is missing, no remains, I wonder if that fell out and caused my firing pin to break? Oh wells I should be able to figure it out, once again thanks

Could be or the broken firing pin caused the pin to fall out. Get the cross pin, firing pin, and might as well as get a new firing pin spring. When you get the parts. Put the spring around the firing pin and slide in the back of the bolt with the flat side down. Push it in and look in the hole. Once you see the flat thru the hold drop the cross pin in.

Just tried to order the cross pin and it is on a back order from Franchi was told to try back in a couple of weeks. Bummer early goose season is only 8 long months away.
