Franchi 912 vs. Benelli Super Black Eagle

I'm looking to add either of these to my shotgun collection and wanted to know if anyone out there has had a chance to shoot and compare the two. My primart concern is which autoloading system is better, the Franch gas operated Variomax system or the Benelli inertia recoil system. Keep in mind that I'll be using this primarily for ducks and geese on the lakes, rivers, and fields of Montana. So I need something that is dependable and can handle wet and very cold conditions.
