Got a gun back from dad today that I had loaned him bout 5 years ago to deer hunt with. Don't think he ever fired it. I thought I had loaned him my maverick88. Turns out I had loaned him my 500 flex. Had them mixed up in my mind thought I had sold the flex but had sold the maverick. I don't think I have ever put 100rds through this gun so it's basically brand new. Action is still real tight. Disassembled her cleaned and lubed everything. Can't wait to shoot her

@Turbo 213 the mrs does the dished. When I do them they don't meet her quality control and I get fired
We once saw the owner of a restaurant playing with his grandchildren when a customer went to the register to check out. That guy couldn't get that register to work (right!) so his wife came over and pushed him out of the way to giterdun. He went back to playing with his grandchildren and we recognized what we had just witnessed. I think my wife forgot about it, cause it works around here whenever assigned tasks are not wanted. ;)

Lol yep. I use this tactic for many "domestic" chores. I take care of feeding the woodstove fixing stuff and the outside work. I have proved myself incompetent for much of the more delicate inside work

It's just too hard to get right (said from a guy who likes fixing chain saws because of the challenge in their small size). I can hear grandma say it: "Lazy boys!"

I’m still waiting/not waiting to get the guns back I’ve “loaned” to my son over the past 12 years…Eventually, transferring them to his name will be easier…

Now that I think about it, the day I borrow a gun from my son will be an interesting one, like going over to his house and turning on all the lights and leaving them on, or not doing any dishes; hmmm, this gun borrowing thing could be a fun ruse, a elder parental turnabout as it were.
