I just inherited a Grand America 1 Trap combo from a friend that passed. Having never had a Perazzi I have some questions.
I'm told that I need a new trigger group but how do I determine which one to order? I'd like to have selectable barrels. I have the same problem with chokes. Which ones to order that will fit?
If I can, eventually I may have the top barrel threaded so I can use chokes instead of the fixed full choke.
How do I determine age?
Thanks for any help you can give me!

There’s a letter code. Look on the bottom of the rec’r. I think that code is on the Beretta forum here.

Perazzi has 2 bbl diameters for factory chokes. .724 and . .736. Trigger groups come several ways flat springs . Vs. Coil springs and selector or no selector.

Thanks guys. An individual that I know looked it over and felt the trigger group needs replaced. I'll have to ask him why he said that.
I have shot it and it is definitely butt heavy compared to my Guerini which is a little muzzle heavy and more balanced. I shoots fine with no issues. The full choke on the top barrel is taking some getting used to. I'm used to being able to barrel select so that's a little wierd.
I'll try to get some pics on here soon.

That’s an early type 4 gun. Meaning it has the self adjusting forearm iron.

Remember that all Perazzis start as an International trap gun. 2 shots per target. They added choke tubes to just the bottom bbl 1st and then top and bottom next. Selectors came later.

The gun at 45 years old looks okay.
