I have a buddy in Grand Chain that has 200 acres of land that we deer hunt on. The problem with coyote hunting it right now is that the fields are full of corn. Every place in the Shawnee I have visited is too hilly and cloged with trees. Does anyone know of an area in deep southern IL that we can go and kill yotes? Most state land is off limits for centerfire rifles or only open during fox season so that is a no-go. Any ideas are welcome though. Thanks in advance.
