How many did you get? Why do you suspect you did it wrong?
I wasn't hunting over dogs .... lots of walking ... didn't flush too many but I may have walked within 3 feet of hundreds of birds and I wouldn't have known.
Got 1, great eating ... I'd do it again If I had a couple of good dogs working.
