The rate of assault has increased steadily from 563 victims per 100,000 people in 1995 to 779 per 100,000 people in 2001.

In 2001 the rate for robbery peaked at 136 per 100,000 people - the highest recorded since 1995.

The rate of sexual assault was 86 per 100,000 people, which is higher than any previous year

funny that since 1996 when our gun laws went even more overboard that crime of all sorts has gone up.
the idiots that are currently in power think thats just cause for more bans more laws and higher licence fees  .
it is really starting to give me (and a lot of others) the sh*ts.

Have you seen the cost that was first projected for the Canadian registry laws, way way way over budget and almost useless.

I just hope that the folks here dont become too complacent and allow these sort of things to happen.

If I lived in Australia I would move. A government not
trusting the people with guns is no longer a government
by the people/ for the people.

It is a little bit hard to just pick up traps and move when all the kids and grandkids live in Australia .I still get to shoot Skeet and Trap whenever I like so I think I will have to stay here
