Parliament sits again beginning of February... So we'll have to wait till then... and of course once passed there, it will go to the senate for final approval.

Wait Wait Wait ........ but its going to finally happen. I bet it will be March or April???

BUT

you're from Quebec, I see. Plenty of noise from your province to keep the information and start up your own registry.

I sure hope those forces are not successful!

It's been through the second reading already, we're just waiting on committee I think. I've been looking at this page to keep up on things:

It is gone as of April 5, 2012.

If you go to the Canadian Firearms Program site you will see the notice.

Also, just sold a gun this week and called them, just to be on the safe side.
