Is this page legit or is it all part of a very large scam? I remain very skeptical but I hope it's real. What is Remington1816? When Remington went under was it broken up, I know the plant in Ilion is now RemArms and Federal owns the ammunition plant in Arkansas. If it seems too good to be true it's probably a scam.

Well from my experience they are legit but hit or miss on actually getting you stuff. I bought a 1100 competition stock and a day later a .410 trigger group. Trigger group arrived 3 days later. Took 2 weeks to get through to somebody about the stock, was told they were out of stock. Did get a refund though. So I'd say they are legit but not in full control of their inventory control. I also figure out they are somehow connected to JSEusa1 on gunbroker.

I did the same thing but I found out that...that address is their corporate office in an office building. They aren't a walk in warehouse. They are 100% online. I know tons of gunsmiths and companies that get their Remington, Marlin and other parts from THEM HERE

I highly recommend the guys at The Gun Repair Center!

 

Has anyone dealt with the Gun Repair Center in Jacksonville FL? They claim to have lots of parts for many Remington models and offer gunsmithing services for them as well. I am wondering if they are legit as they claim to be an authorized Remington repair center but Remington is out of business. Thanks in advance.

I've used them to find hard to locate Remington and Marlin Parts. I like that I can ask THEM HERE if I can't find a part on their site...more times that not...I just ask and they have it. Especially Hard to Find Remington Pistol Parts.

 

Yes! Recently purchased gas rings for my 12 and 20 1100s. All went well. They were recommended by the Remington factory for parts.

 

How quick are they with shipping?

 

About 4 days to Va. Took a couple of days before tracking info.

 

Based on my experience it seems this place is a scam. Never got the item I ordered and charged over $40 for shipping a package that weighs less than a pound. The very little reviews they have is also worrisome.

I ordered parts over the weekend, they were shipped Monday, and I had them in a few days. No complaints here. Prices were higher than Remington used to be by a little bit, but less than you'd pay anywhere else (if you could find them). Hopefully RemArms starts running the 1100 again so parts become more regularly available.

 

Well like I said is a hit or miss with them. I'm going to have to file a dispute with my bank. I get the ru- around when I call them and they don't respond to email so their customer service sucks.

 

What did you order that your shipping was $40? I ordered about a dozen small parts, everything shipped in a small flat rate box, and I was charged $13.47

 

A spring and that's it. UPS was the only option. Was hesitant to order and knew it was a ripoff but there's nowhere else that I can get this part so figured that $40 in shipping would be worth it to fix a gun that is useless without it.

 

I ordered some small parts from them for Rem 870, I found the whole experience very good, received the order within a few days, and I didn’t find the cost excessive for both the parts and shipping. I would use them again if I need something.

 

I have ordered parts from them and I was very satisfied. This is the only place I was able to find an 870 magazine cap detent and spring... was very happy they had them.
