I was just clarifying the gun he had trouble with was not the CXS he really likes. Yes they are similar, but some random guns turnout to be lemons. A friend had a 525 Sporter, a very popular and durable shotgun. Had top barrel firing pin problems from the start that plagued him for years. After numerous repairs over a period of many years, they had him send it back and gave him a new 725 in December. In my part of the world, Browning treating a customer like that borders on the miraculous. All gun makers can kick out a lemon or two.

As a side note. I have a CXS 20. And I have never been happier with a shotgun that came that cheap. And I had a lot more problems with my MX8 at 5 times the price.

I was wondering why he bought a 20ga Special Sporting 32" when he already had a 20ga CXS 32" that he likes very much, especially when the two guns are so similar. Guess he bought the CXS after dumping the defective Special Sporting...
That was my understanding as well.
