Then why are you responding to a post entitled "GunsAmerica-is it safe?"

Nobody was attacking you or your post, but for somebody who does not "use or look at auction sites" stating that "...the firearms for sale are not top quality." is going to draw some direct responses, particularly from those who actually use auction sites.

GunsAmerica is NOT an Auction Site. It connects buyers with sellers, there is NO auction.-Dick

Dick, why won't you send money for a gun to a non-FFL?

Individuals have different moralities and many individuals can justify thier actions in terms of thier life experience. I am not going to send large amounts of money to an individual that I don't know or have references for.

My reasons are as I stated. If one doesn't understand or agree, that's certainly acceptable. What is not acceptable is to label me with adjectives such as falacious. One can present different viewpoints but not label(attack) others on forums and thats what was done. EOT-Dick

I was curious because I have bought expensive (> $1500) guns on line and everything went just fine. But I have been really selective of who I bought from, and since the highpower target rifle community is small, it is easier to find out about your seller.

I have purchased and sold guns through GunsAmerica several times. And have never had a bad experience.

When a buyer looks at my record, the feedback and comments left on me, that gives him a good idea of the type of transaction to expect from me. The same applies to the feedback on e-bay left for me.

If someone has very little feedback or some negative comments in feedback then you should be cautious for sure.
