Just curious if anyone has actually weighed an SBE3. I know what Benelli says the weight is but sometimes the advertising is not exactly honest. Anyone know?

It seems I weighed one of mine at about 7 pounds even for a 28" SBE3. Oddly, I think it weighs the same or a little less than my 26" M2.

My SBE1 is 7.41lbs with a 26" barrel and no choke tube so I wonder how they shaved .4lbs off of it. You sure about that 7.0lbs?

I think that is correct. For some reason I feel the need to weigh every gun that passes through my hands, and I remember thinking it was the same as my 26" M2, which is odd. I won't have access for a few days but will weigh my SBE3 when I do. For what it's worth, Benelli's Web site lists the SBE3 at 7 pounds for 28" and 6.9 pounds for 26"

I will double check.

I weighed some Benellis tonight. Here is what my scale indicates:

*Benelli SBE3 (28"): 7.0 pounds
*Benelli M2 12 gauge (26"): 7.0 pounds
*Benelli Montefeltro (26"): 5.7 pounds
