·:roll:I"m at sticker shock looking at the prices for rifled slug barrels for 870 remingtons,I paid $175.00 for the whole gun used about 3 years ago,monte-carlo stock, smoothbore deer barrel in great shape, I find it hard to justify $225.00 for the rifled barrel!! I want a slug barrel with rifle sights so I can mount
a scope on the reciever,I like to sit in the treestand the first
morning then be able to remove the scope for deer drive's.
So my question is what is everyone else doing, is it worth the investment, or a newer gun? The Ithaca Deerslayer II is something I might be interested in, just never held one, nevermind the price!
Thanks, Marc
