need a little help. Found a Rota modell 83 O/U 12g. stainless receiver and barrel inserts On one side of barrel has ACCIAIO VICKERS and made in Italy. Can anyone help with more info-value on this gun?

:) Hi RC: Imported by Navy Arms from 1985 - 1990. When Navy ARMs moved from New Jersey to West Virginia, BATF took all their Records, so they don't have any more info other than their estimated current value from $180 to $300.

However; $1000(+) have been reported. I bought this one for my son years ago and he really likes it.

ACCIAIO VICKERS referrs to the kind of steel the barrel is made from. It really doesn't mean anything useful.

:wink: Seamus is correct.
Manufactured by Luciano Rota of Italy with
double set triggers and engraved chrome receiver, vent barrels
(bored M/F or IC/M) and rib.

Acciaio Vickers, quality Steel barrels of Europe. Canne Cromate stamp indicates Chromed barrels......
