i have a .410 single shot break-over. on the left side of the reciever it hercules, montgomery ward & co. above that on the barrel it says 1929 model. anybody have any ideas on manufacturer and model. thanks for any info. dave.
Made by the J Stevens Arms Co. for Montgomery Ward, probly made in the late 20s or early 30s. It coulld be another maker, but the Stevens are the most common.. Bushrod
could it be a stevens model 94? reason i ask is, i need to buy parts for it. i was misled to believe it was a topper 48, i ordered the parts from numrich (all the schematics look the same) did not match-up.
