I hope that you know I was joking with my response above. I don't really know what your father-in-law's revolver is worth. I just know that High Standard revolvers aren't particularly valuable or collectible (as far as I know) and I was making a ballpark guess that it's worth somewhere between $50 and $100. Perhaps a pistol website could give you more accurate info, assuming of course that you could better describe the gun and its condition. :lol:

The Gun Trader's Guide (21st addition-1997) say's the first model, a .22 cal., made (1955-56) is worth max. $315. There are several other models in various cal. worth between $155 to $295 ( in new condition ). I have the 1955 model and the snub nose model (1957 to 1974).
