Just received email from a powder dealer advising they had Hodgdon's High Gun Shotshell Powder. Never new about this powder. Only loading data was on the 8# jug. Has anyone used this powder. It looks interesting. Thanks Danny

Strange. Why is the data on the bottle with Remington primers? Maybe they have a secret stash?
They used Cheddite primers at least.

Thats kinda my take, but would be nice to know more exactly where the 2 sit in Burn Rate. Perfect Pattern close to ( E3, titewad, Ramshot Competition, Nitro 100) which one is it closest to?
High Gun , ( American Select, Green Dot, Intl Clays, Titegroup, etc) be nice to know where they truly sit.

I bought 16 lbs. last night. I will see how it goes. I may send some out for 16 gauge testing. Probably 7/8 oz. loads.

I agree, but waiting for 700-X in 8 lbers. is getting old fast. I have seen 4 lb. and 1 lb. bottles not interested. I have enough 700-X to get me through until September.

Realistically, most any 12 gauge target powder will do the job. I have used most of them and the number of X's on the score card has never changed when the powder changed.
Saw 700X 8lbers marked discontinued????
