A friend has an old Wingmaster with an 18-20" barrel and an adjustable choke. The barrel is a remington made barrel.

How/where can I find out more information on this?

The serial number is: V602_ _ _ V (dashes are numbers)

any help would be greatly appriciated.

call remington and select menu 7 on the automated recording (I believe) for the historical info operator. give them the S/N and maybe barrel markings and they'll tell you what they know.

the adjustable choke sounds like a poly choke (aftermarket I think) or something that seemed to be popular for a minute or two 25-30 years ago.

you can find out when it was made and what barrel came with it originally.
