omg :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: that almost had to be a nitrous blow----but i don't see a bottle :roll: even though he was blipping the throttle, doesn't appear a situation where a stuck intake valve would do that----and it didn't blow out the plates.
Blower explosion. Thats why modern top fuel dragsters have the engine behind the cockpit. Improper timing and a long duration cam or valve float at high RPM introduces a spark to the compressed fuel/air mixture in the blower manifold, and blammo. At least he wasn't giong down the track when it happened.
