HOW TO DESTROY AMERICA
By Frosty Wooldridge
Oct 31, 2003, 00:01

Last week, I attended an immigration-overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, filled to capacity by many of Americas finest minds and leaders. Writers, speakers, CEOs, representatives from Congress such as Tom Tancredo as well as former governors graced the podium. Bonnie Eggle, mother of the national parks ranger Chris Eggle, slain by Mexican drug runners last year on our unguarded southern border--gave a compelling speech that left not one dry eye in the place. Peter Gadiel, father of Jamie Gadiel, spoke powerfully on how the World Trade Center took his son and how nothing has been done since--to stop the flow of illegal immigration into the United States. Even with the façade of Tom Ridges Homeland Security, 800,000 illegal aliens continue walking, crawling or tunneling across the Mexican border annually. Their accelerating numbers are undermining Americas ability to function.

During the conference, speaker after speaker astounded the audience with facts on how fast the present administration and congress continue dismantling the American Dream for average citizens. Mr. Rob Sanchez of Arizona, showed how H1 B and L 1 visas have ripped one million high tech jobs out of American workers hands. Another speaker told a packed audience
how offshoring and outsourcing, fully supported by the president and congress have cost over three million American jobs in the past six years. His prediction was even more depressing: In excess of three million more jobs will be outsourced within four years. Those American jobs are headed
to Mexico, India, China, Pakistan and Brazil.

Later, a brilliant college professor named Victor Hansen Davis
talked about his latest book, MEXIFORNIA, explaining how immigration, both legal and illegal, was destroying the entire State of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of the American Dream.

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm, stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America. This writer sat in the audience spellbound by the eight methods for destruction of the United States.

He said, If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then lets destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall, and that, An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.

Here is how they do it, Lamm said. Turn America into a bilingual
or multi lingual and bicultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historica scholar Seymour Lipset put it this way, The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension and tragedy. Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, Lebanonall face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons and Corsicans.

Lamm went on, Invent multiculturalism and encourage immigrants to maintain their own culture. I would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal. That there are no cultural differences. I would make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out
of bounds.

We could make the United States an Hispanic Quebec without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the ATLANTIC MONTHLY recently: The apparent success of our own multi-ethnic and multi-cultural experiment might have been achieved not
by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentrically and what it meant to be an America, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.

Lamm said, I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own
language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural sub-groups living in America reinforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities.

Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school.

My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big
foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of Victimology. I would get all minorities to think their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority population.

My sixth plan for Americas downfall would include dual citizenship and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each otherthat is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful or stable society is against most
historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks: The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic
games. A common enemy Persia threatened their liberty. Yet, all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factorslocal patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the pluribus instead of
the unum, we can balkanize America as surely as Kosovo.

Next to last, I would place all subjects off limitsmake it taboo
to talk about anything against the cult of diversity. I would find a word similar to heretic in the 16th centurythat stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like racist or xenophobe halt discussion and debate.

Having made America a bilingual--bicultural country, having
established multiculturalism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of Victimology, I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must ALWAYS be good. I would make every individual immigrant
sympatric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them."

In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. The profound silence allowed me to hear my heart beating. Finally, he said, Lastly, I would censor Victor Hanson Daviss book MEXIFORNIA. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, dont read that book.

There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today. Every discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate diversity. American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as greedy corporations create a Third World in Americatake note of California and other statesto date, 10 million illegal aliens and growing, fast.

It reminded me of George Orwells book, 1984. In that story,
three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: War is peace, Freedom is slavery, and Ignorance is strength. I sat there as one of the most patriotic Americans I know, Governor Lamm, walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy, is deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we dont get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially the American Dream.

Take your hate speech, isolationist attitudes, and ethnically divisive comments elsewhere. I don't want to hear them. This is a forum for people to come together and share ideas and opinions on shotguns. Your comments have no place on this shotgun forum.

You need to check up there Ulysses. This is a discussion forum, a POLITICAL discussion forum. Why does the obvious have to be hate speech? If you disagree with something than provide a counter opinion and leave the name calling out.

Are the "illegal" Mexicans NOT coming across the open borders? Are they not a burden on CA through all the free handouts?

Local industry IS losing to offshore manufacturing. Here locally, the T-shirt, sock, and hosiery industries are downsizing and closing with the majority of the jobs going down into south America for cheap labor. Trying finding electronics that are American made, parts come from China and Malaysia and are only assembled here. The movement of jobs and the importation of goods is something that has been happening for years, different industries at different times.

In the tech industry numerous Indians and middle eastern workers are coming here and are being trained by those that they will replace at the end of the training.

Are the ACLU and Jesse Jackson not perfect examples of corporate extortion and victimology?

The further comments by the CO gov are not suggestions as to what can be done to destroy America, rather it is commentary on what he thinks IS happening and I would hope that it gets people to think more about the world around them and not be so concerned with the next episode of Friends of Survivor.

I think that we as Americans have gotten lazy, for the longest time we didn't know the troubles that other countries have had to deal with directly on their soil, (I think all of us would have preferred that it didn't happen) 9/11 was a wake up call for what can happen when complacency becomes the order of the day. And is still possible with the half *** measures taken, especially with airport security. It seems common sense that if the people that planned and staged the attack were middle eastern that you wouldn't spend all that much time with a 70 yr old grandmother, however this is considered racial profiling. The same difference that if a yellow dog bites you and runs away, you don't stop all the white, black, brown, and other assorted colors you look for a yellow one.

Another point of laziness is with the high school age kids that expect to earn a top salary yet have nothing in the way of skilled labor to offer. The work ethic of starting at the bottom and working ones way to the top has fallen by the way side, there is too much instant gratification. The immigrants are willing to do those jobs, by the droves. Many of the chicken processing plants, construction crews, and numerous other menial, hard, or monotonous-type jobs are being done by the immigrant works because the local Americans feel those jobs are beneath them, yet they don't have an education or other skills to have that attitude.

When I look at the title of this board, it says, "Gun Control/Political Discussion". I interpret that to mean discussions about gun control and political issues as they relate to our right to keep and bear arms. I don't see the relevance of immigration policies and trade isssues to guns or our right to own and use them.

As I read this message I too attempted to uncover what the true purpose was and how it related to SGing. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one. I also couldn't find how someone could immediately, without some hesitation or ponder of thought, spill out such a commentary. This is obvious a copy / paste thread that is no doubt circulating thru many MBs associated / tied to / geared in the direction of conservative thought.

I do not, however, consider it hate material. It merely brings to light an overlooked / side stepped phenomenon that is unfortunately encroaching into our society. If you read it again you will notice that it doesn't point a finger at a single political party nor does it single out one particular racial group as a root cause. It does, very broadly I might add, describe how several things are affecting our way of life and how, if not eventually brought under control will inevitably destroy the future for our children and our children's children.

I can proudly say that I am not a bigot, a hate monger, a racist, or hypocrite. One thing I discovered over two decades ago was that if the majority panders to the will of the minority, no good can come of it. I understood it to be true then and it's most certainly true today.

I am bilingual. When I am in America I speak English - not only the official language of the USA but is also the International Business Language. When I am in Japan I read, write, and speak Japanese. I don't force my beliefs, my culture, or my will on those I come in contact with in Japan. I understand that the only way I will be able to communicate affectively and benefit in Japan is to speak their language - not force the majority to pander to my will and force them to speak English. I am also married to a Filipina whose 77-year-old mother is native to the Philippines, but made it a point to learn English when she came to the US. She, too, knew that if she couldn't speak the language of the majority she would be left out.

The degradation of our educational system provided to our native born as well as our lack of forcing the most fundamental communicational tool (English) to immigrants both legal and illegal is just one facet of the apparent and the possible inevitable destruction of our country. This is a damn shame, but it is happening more and more as every day passes.

Gentlemen,

Please be advised that this column is in fact a discussion forum for Political Issues of varying nature. I agree that this is indeed a Shotgunning website and forum (and a damn fine one), however it important that we discuss such issues as the one that has been posted.

We must all first step back and decide whether or not we are going to agree with every post on this forum, no matter what its subject matter. I would hope we all have the intellect and independence to make up our own minds regarding these types of issues. We must also have the maturity and tolerance to hear out different ideologies and accept the fact that perhaps each of us may not always be correct all the time, and even if we cannot bear the thought of agreeing with an idea that boils our blood, we must at the very least agree to disagree.

I tolerate many ideas, whether I agree with them or not, and this one is no different. However what I will not tolerate in my forum is for individuals to lower themselves to name-calling and other grade-school practices, so let it be heard that that ends right here, right now.

If any of our members ask me to censor such discussions, I am sorry but you will indeed be dissappointed. If you force me to begin deleting posts (a thought I dread), then you must ask yourself where the line is drawn. Once I begin, where do I stop? I could possibly delete every post that pays even the most remote disrespect for my hero Mr. J.M. Browning or disdain for the firearms his company produces, but my conscience tells me I cannot do that. And I will not do that.

For the record, the post by BJolly was indeed a "cut and paste" article, and for that matter about 95% of mine in this forum are, because what we try to do here is alert our fellow shotgunners to issues that may concern them, and that is done quite effectively by posting articles ensuring proper credit is given to the author as it was in this case. That is what I believe Mr Jolly's intent was in this case. Secondly, it was not a racist or hate-mongering post. It was actually well-written and thought-provoking. Thirdly, I believe I understand what the author was illustrating, and from my perspective it looks quite accurate.

I will ask a favor of all of you who frequent my forum. Let us not only disagree, let is celebrate our differences of opinion. Let us revel in the comfort of knowing that we still have the freedom to print text that is controversial. Let us agree to disagree, and most importantly: Let us do so intelligently and respectfully.

Regards,

With regard to the "greedy corporations" moving operations to other countries.....no kidding. They either move to lower their costs or they go out of business. When purchasing a homogenous item like socks for instance, a consumer will buy a $1 pair of socks before buying a $10 dollar pair of socks. A sock is a sock and Americans aren't going to pay $10 in this example just to keep the sock plant here on American soil, paying American workers and generally being very cost inefficient. Employing Americans is expensive, we have minimum wage requirements, health benefits etc. Don't blame to corporation. They either move over seas and stay in business (Americans lose their jobs), or they stay in America and Americans lose the jobs because the overseas companies do it cheaper and run them out of business.

That one always cracks me up. Some speaker gets the audience all worked up over OUR jobs going overseas and doesn't bother to explain the impact of those jobs staying here. Econ 101 stuff.

I invite anyone who wants to come to america to do so. We are the richest and most powerful nation the planet has ever seen, and the freedom that provided that opportunity should not be denied anyone. Immigration and Emmigration are a natural human phenomenon from the very earliest of times. If you don't like it too bad. Open the borders.

The company I work for is sending jobs to Mexico as fast as they can..........They have 2 plants in Mexico and are talking about opening one in China.Americans are out of jobs, while the Board of Directors rake in the cash and say how good it is for the Company to have the Mexico plants..I am sure My Wife and I will feel that way when my job goes to Mexico..........NOT!..................Pumper ,I think we need to CLOSE the boarders untill we can sort out who is here and why ....then control imigration. I was heavily involved in the Cuban exodus in 1980 also known as the Mariel Boat Lift..............that is what you want for this country? We ned to clean house and take care of a little mater called" National Security"...you can't do that with open boarders!! If you need an example look north to Canada....what a friken mess!!!! that what you want for the USA?

Because some of the people crossing the border now want to blow our buildings up and kill as many US citizens as possible.

When my forfathers came to this land there was no welfare, there were no free rides, they came to work, to suceed and to develop families that would carry on the tradition of being American. I am not a bigot, I do not hate anyone because of where they are from, but if you are going to come to this country one of the things that you should do, must do, is abide by United States laws. When you break that law (by entering illegally) and Ex Gov Davis says "It is okay, I will give you a drivers liscense and all the benefits of being a citizen but you don't have to give a damn about this country" it ruffles my feathers.

Agree or disagree that is my $.02

At my university there are more immigrants and international students than natural born citizens, and it makes me proud. Thousands if not millions of people want to come here for perfectly good reasons. Saying we should close the borders to protect ourselves from terrorists is the same arguement anti-gun lobbies use. The vast number of law abiding gun owners is not represented by those who use guns in crimes. Gun owners cry foul when laws are passed based on such situations. There are other ways of dealing with terrorists than to deprive all immigrants access to our country. The latest terror threats aren't even originating from within our borders, but from abroad. Are we going to pass laws that apply in other countries next? Should we tear down the Statue of Liberty and send it back with all those who would love to become Americans?

I agree completely Johnnyboy! When many of our ancestors came to this country they brought with them a hope for a better life - NOT a plan to destroy it. That is the difference.

Like I said, the percentage of people that try to come here and destroy the country is less than a tenth of a percent. Should we deny the ohter 99.9% of honest good people because of that, I say no, but you may disagree. You won't mind then when all civilian owned guns are banned and security cameras are installed in your house, to protect us from terrorists of course. I know my beliefs are far from popular around here, so I will leave it at that, because that the me is the most logical arguement.

Clear above link to understand my views!

Warning this contains graphic images that potray a graphic event.

My thought on imagration is that is acceptable IF and ONLY IF we (the United States) know who is comming through our borders. No one has rights because they came here illegally.

Johnboy

BTW I think that the images in the link above should be engraved on every United States citizen's mind for the rest of time.

As it is obvious the original poster of the thread has not come back so he was probably just trying to stirr trouble or have a laugh...

The only addition I would like to make is that I doubt the then residents of the continent, The Indians welcomed the imigration of the European 'forefathers' who brought hope with them and conquered their land so as to live their dream. Im sure the indians had very different dreams than them....

The american history is too short for people to forget what happened a century or two ago.

Imigration is allways a threat to the dominant population, especially when the new imigrant population is reproducing faster.

Pumper be proud of the diversity of your university for you see for every foreign student there , there is an American Student that got a rejection letter.

How many of those foreign students here on a student visa will apply for a work visa further denying a born American an opportunity at that job?

We have rampant unemployment, how pray tell , will allowing more immigrants in curtail that problem?

Illegal immigrants by the very nature of the name are criminals, when our forefathers came , open immigration was legal even encouraged, the land and the economy could handle it. Not so true now.

Not true at this school. Any American citizen who applies and has the equivalent of a high school diploma is admitted.
