I alternately use a Vaughan 19oz (or is it 21?) fiberglass-handled hammer or a Stiletto 14oz Ti head woody. A gun (nail, that is) is not for something a bigger hammer would accomplish. It's for doing things that a) a hammer could do, but the gun can do much faster and b) things a hammer just ain't gonna do, like crazy toenails. If you need to move something, like a beam, wall or post (or anything else), there's no substitute for hammerhead mass. That's the only thing I don't like about the 14ozer. It's nice to carry but I can't hit as hard with it as I can the 19 (21?), which also has more weight because of the fiberglass handle. It's fine for nails, but you can't move stuff with it.
