From the manual for the ADV-1000P. Press and hold ID button for 3 seconds. The display shows prog and scrolls through numbers, then goes blank. A new code has been selected. Match the collar to the transmitter. Hold the red dots together, until the collar glows green then amber. Press transmitter button, receiver led will glow red.

I have the older track and train 1600, and this is the 3rd one as they don't seem to last. The latest is probably the longest stretch going on 2 years. Lucky I bought the 5 year warranty. When they go down they tell me to send it back in and they send me a new one. I just pay a small handling fee. I will say if I had to do it all over again I would not touch an Innotek.

As you're finding out there is a reason a lot of folks call them innojunk.

The design and construction of their equipment make the units not repairable. When something goes wrong, you have to throw the unit away and buy a new one.

Try a Dogtra or TriTronics unit. They cost a little more but can be repaired when you break it.

I have one of them. I haven't used it since my lab died almost 3 years ago. I got it out a while back and the red stickers are gone. I have messed with it for hours and haven't been able to find the sequence to get it turned on and off. I too lost my instructions.
