I have just got a hunter arms Fulton SXS 20ga. shotgun that is 95-98% bluing 90-95% case hardening and 90-95% finish on wood. The chokes are full and mod. the serial# is 17XXXX .I would like to know the age and approx. value of the gun?
I sure do like it and the fit is perfect for me I can see me shooting many birds over my GSP this fall with this little beauty
Thanks GSPatton

GS, you cut the serial off 1 too soon , if yours is lower than 171179 it's 1938 if higher it's a '39 .

It's valued as a shooter, here's the Bluebooks description Fulton trademarked shotguns mfg. by Hunter Arms Co. were inexpensive, utilitarian shotguns designed for a price point rather than quality. Models Fulton and Fulton Special were supplied in 12, 16, 20 ga., or .410 bore (rare). When encountered today, values usually are in the $150-$350 range.

In some regions the price trend might be a bit higher..
