I just got a Hunter Arms, Fulton model with a single non-selective trigger. Currently it does not function and the problem seems to concern a spring that attaches to the inertia rocker. I have never seen one of these before and I don't know how that spring is supposed to function. Does anyone know how this works or the patent number assigned to this trigger?

Proffp, there is a book by William Brophy titled L C Smith Plans and Specs. and it shows every part of an L C Smith including the single trigger. They are expensive, like $100 or more and out of print. Bobby

Thanks for responding - I have the book you mention but it doesn't mention anything about Hunter Arms boxlocks. It does give a good description of the Hunter One trigger but that only works with the L.C. Smith sidelock gun they were so famous for. There is one page with a drawing of their Fulton boxlock gun but it only shows a double trigger. Thanks again for help.
