My 1100 has a 21" Special Field, twin-bead, modified, fixed-choke barrel that I like quite a lot. The overall length is very close to my 20" 870's. I have a factory +3 extension and clamp and a Choate bolt handle that looks very similar to the one that comes from the factory on the new Competition Master 1100.
I also put an English stock on mine. It looks like a Special Field with an extension, basically.
It is a real deathray for clays and for my friends who borrow it, it is a real treat. It has recoil a pixie could handle, is so easy to swing and shoot and where there was once a clay is just a cloud of dust.
For me, it is perfect.
PS. I'd like to put a sling on it but I really hate to drill my stock. Maybe after it aquires a few more "beauty marks".....
