For the past 42 years I have owned a Browning Fabrique Nationale Darmes De Guerre Herstal Belgique, Serial # 115982 with a Full 12 Special Steel barrel. I would like to identify the shotgun and inquire as to its value if I sold it. The shotgun is in good condition.

it's a 1932 Browning A-5 (Auto- 5) Standard

It's values should be close to these

Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60%
Grade 1 $675 $575 $475 $375 $325 $285 $250

unless of course it has a vent rib , a solid rib, or inlays.

It has a solid rib. Thanks for the information. Just one more question. What would be the best way to sell this shotgun?

with a solid rib variation add about $50 to each value.

The best way to sell it really depends on the area you are in, thre's been a lot of A-5's on the auction sites that don't sell.

I would , instead try the online classifieds like http://www.gunsamerica.com this will give you an idea of how to do it , start looking the 4th one down http://www.gunsamerica.com/searches/PzH ... rYg8-1.htm

I'd give this a week or so then I'd go ahead and try your local classifieds, or a gun club close by, last resort would be a gunshop.
