There's a couple new synthetic V3s for sale in a local farm supply store. Only ones I've seen in person in quite some time. Been there a long time.

Unfortunately, the V3 had some issues at release, which happened to be about the time Remington went under. Now if you get a leftover and parts break, like the bolt carrier did on a lightly used one my dad had, you have a paperweight. Soft shooting guns, but not Remingtons best effort IMO.

I really like mine, outside of the carrier cam pin, the weak link. Supposedly, the cam pin went through a better hardening process and the issue was resolved just before the demise of Remington.
