Searching for info on a Browning Model 30 pump shotgun, short barrel, with sling swivels. No military or other markings. Browning logo with pointing dog. Appears to be a riot or trenchgun type, and well-aged. Thank you in advance for any info!
I have never seen or heard of a Browning M30. Does the gun have Belgium proofs? Could it be a Setvens M520 made on John Browning's patent and sold to a retail store like Sears or Wards?
Sears and Roebuck sold a Model 30 pumpgun that was made for them by Stevens Company. This gun was actually a Stevens Model 520 which was a pump designed by John Browning. I have seen these guns marked as being made on the Browning Patent.
Post a photo of your gun and maybe we can help.
