I purchase an old shotgun at a local flea market and would appreciate any kind of information concerning it. The shotgun is missing most of it's stock. It has no wood on the underside of the barrels nor did it ever. It has side by side barrels and outside hammers. Firing pins still work. Has name on metal plate behind one hammer " W & H Hudson ". There are small markings similar to hallmarks on underside of barrels that can be seen when the gun is broken down. Also if anyone has information on this shotgun or could help in finding a replacement stock please let me know. A couple of people at the flea market who saw the shotgun dated it to 1870's. I don't know nor do I know if their info was correct.
