I have an old Ithaca side by side 20ga I'd like to get an age and apprx value on. I cant find any model numbers stamped on the firearm other than the serial number on the barrel and action #202637. Both sides of the action is engraved with a dog (pointer) in the grass and Ithaca Gun Company, Ithaca,NY below it. The gun has been used so the barrel and stock show some wear. Its still a nice light brush gun for birds though.

Thanks

You have an Ithaca Flues Model, made in 1910, They made 8 different grades, yours being a Field Grade, the lowest one made. Unless it has been altered, it has 2 1/2" chambers. I you shoot the gun , have it checked by a good smith and keep the loads under 7500 psi chamber pressure. In some cases the light 20s develop a crack in the frame.. Bushrod
