FOLKS ,
I have an Ithaca model 37 -20 gauge -2 3/4" plain bbl no rib-it screws into the receiver with an interupted thread. The buttstock has no checkering -the forend is a tootsie roll style-butt plate is black plastic & says Ithaca Gun in very small letters on the bottom . Serial number is "731xxx-1" ( I used 3x instead of the true numbers ) this appears on both the receiver & the bbl. .
I would like to know : when the gun was made ?
is this a FEATHERWEIGHT model ?
can I interchange bbls or is this a model ( I'm guessing it is )
that requires the bbl to be fitted ?
Value in " fair " condition / I have a pair of these .
Thank you in advance for your time & help. I've learned a lot from your shared knowledge.
A HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL & GOOD HUNTING.
