SELECTED FORGED STEEL

& ABOVE THE TRIGGER GAURD IS MODEL 94C W/A MAKER'S MARK A CIRCLED 40

MY DADDY BOUGHT THIS AROUND 1945-1950 & THEN GAVE IT TO ME ,
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THE WORTH IS & WHAT THE WOOD IS???????

It's a Savage 94C , they generally bring less than $100 . The wood, if it's like the one I have in my cabinet is just the wood of the week stained to look good.
