I believe that your serial number places the date of manufacture sometime in the late 1920's. If so, there should be a date code on the barrel flats. Look for a 3 or 4 digit number indicating the month and year of manufacture, probably with a slash between the month and the year. For example, 3/28 idicates March 1928. The slash was used until the 1930's. After that there were just the numbers (1054 = October 1954)
