This from Carder's "Janssen & Sons Co.: This gunmaker, located in Liege, Belgium, was founded by Adolphe Janssen in 1891 and remained in business until 1931. Janssen side by sides ranged in a variety of grades from fine to export quality. The several different frames used by them included back-action sidelocks, bar-front sidelocks and boxlocks."
