I have a model 500 with the cantilever barrel that I bought new in the 90’s. With Federal Barnes Expander slugs (no longer in production) I’ve shot 2” groups at 100 yards. It’s a tack driver as far as slug guns are concerned. As far as scopes I’d see if there’s a Vortex that would work. I have one on my 760 and love it.
