Just to let everyone know, Larry Kolar, the inventor of Kolar tubes, passed away last week at his home in Ithaca NY at the age of 90. I've had the privilege to talk to Larry over the years and a finer gentleman you will never meet. Along with Kolar tubes, Larry made all the Ithaca Mag 10 auto receivers that were very popular huntung geese. A great machinist and sportsman, he will be missed.

I have a set of Kolar tubes made in Ithica. I may never sell them or the Citori they are in now.
