I did do a search first, I am wanting to replace the factory pad on a sporting sps 12 gauge with a Limbsaver pad. I found a post that said model 10013 was a direct fit for a 28 gauge but post didn't have a make of the gun any advice on a pad??
Well, my initial guess was that the Sporting stock seemed to be its own design, so I doubted the pads would interchange, but...
Comparing the pads which came off my HPS Sporting and SPZ-ME Steel, they look interchangeable. And, the pad off the Sporting appears to be simply a thicker version of the factory pad on my 20 ga HP.
It looks to me like Yildiz has made an effort to have most of their SPZ family end up with the same mounting surface for the pad. So, I would guess the Limbsaver pad Academy sells for Yildiz should be a pretty good fit. Just to be safe, maybe you could remove the pad from your gun and take it to the store to compare them.
I switched some of my Yildiz to Kick Eez and Pachmayr, but those all were grind-to-fit pads.
Limbsaver has templates for all of their recoil pads on their website. Take your current pad off, measure the dimensions of the butt of the stock, and find the template with measurements that match yours.
