I am looking for advice on a 10 ***** shotgun. I have been told that in days past somebody actually made a 10 ***** that fired a four inch shell. I would like to know if that is a fact and if that same gun could fire slug and/or buck. I realize getting the ammo will be tough (I'd almost certainly have to have it made) but I am interested all the same. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance!

I know that a couple years ago some one made a over under. I think it may have been tri star or traditions. never heard of a 4'' shell or chamber though. I have a browning gold 10 that i use for duck, goose, deer, turkey, and the gun has never failed me. The only thing is the gun weighs 13 pounds but with a shoulder strap you barley know it is there . as far as recoil goes I will pit this gun up against any twelve made with a 31/2 inch shell.

Pretty Sure that New England Arms makes a single shot 10...Back in the 60's-70's, Richland imported O/U and SxS 10's from Spain, Italy and Brazil I think...Dad has a Spanish made one...Has maybe 50 total rounds through it...

I want that...But he keeps telling me not till he's dead...

I can wait...Hope it is a long time too...
