I'm looking for an 1100 LH model to use for hunting, pheasants and/or ducks. What model should I look for? If it's a fixed choke I'd like a mod or I/C. Barrel length anywhere from 24-28 inches. I could forego steel shot and stick to lead or bismuth in a 2 3/4" shell. If I could use it occasionally at 5 stand that would be a bonus but not required. I do have other guns right now, but it's something I want to put on my radar to keep an eye out for.

Any standard 1100, except a Skeet, Trap, or Sporting Model should work fine. A skeet or Sporting model would be fine with a different new barrel.
"Feel" in a gun is a personal thing. I like a fixed choke 28" barrel, or a 28" Light Contour barrel with RemChokes on an 1100. Finding the latter may be impossible, and I opted to have choke tubes fitted to a standard barrel. I do not see any LH barrels after 2004 except deer barrels.
If you could find an 11-87 after about 1992 if I remember right, that should do also.
Good luck.

There is one 1187 and one 1100 on gunbroker right now.
The 1100 has two barrels both already with the chokes opened.
I'd go for this one though. My son is a lefty and I got him one years ago.
