The 12 gauge I shoot trap with is ported, some remnants of wad and dirt gets stuck in the ports, any good ideas of how to get that section of my barrels clean ?

You could get the stuff out with a pipe cleaner.

Is that a brush of some kind or a chemical ? (forgive my ignorance).

put a little bore cleaner on it and clean away.

then a little shot of BreakFree CLP to keep the gunk suspended and it'll not clog up again.

A pipe cleaner can usually be found at any drug or tobacco store, comes in packages usually of more than one. It is a brush to clean the stems of pipes used for smoking. :shock:
