Just got my Maxus back from Browning for the Duratouch refinish from the lawsuit and it is horrible. The stock now feels cheap and looks like it will be very slippery in the swamp. The stock feel like the Rossi youth gun I bough for my kids for $100. Got air bubbles in the finish and crease on the top of the butt stock, colors don't exactly match up and the forearm doesn't fit well anymore.
I am real concerned about how slippery the gun will be while duck hunting in the rain/dew. Anyone find a coating they can put on their stock to add a better grip? I was linking about a coat of clear flex seal. Anyone try that or anything else?
