North of Nogales Mexico? You mean North of Nogales USA. Now that is good current info, the area around Patagonia when I was stationed at Ft Huachuca, had a decent Mearns Quail population, however the birds were very spooky from us GI's hunting that area especially on the weekends. Glad to hear there is still a good Mearns Quail population in those draws. Be careful of the snakes in that area.
