I have a 20g MEC 9000, and my problem is, the carousel will start indexing before I complete the upstroke, jamming the first shell against the collet. Only happens some of the time, and I'm careful not to stop, or reverse direction before I complete each stroke. Any ideas?
Thanks.

If you adjust the timing of the auto index to where it just trips at the end of the handle lift. Your problem should be solved.
But If this is something that just happened after many cycles that were fine, check to make sure that the hooked piece that indexes the platen has not gotten bent. The long section (2.6in.)of the piece is supposed to be straight, not curved or bowed. I had that kick my butt for quite a while. I had a little wreck on the loader and it got bent.
Also when the primers start popping out of the index plate or start flipping over, lubricate the sizer collet and it will start opening smoothly and stopp popping the primers up or over.
