Recently acquired an Italian made 12 ga O/U, 28" and trying to find out more about the gun. Engraved on the barrel, which is blued and has a rib, are the following...
"Trade Winds, Inc. PO Box 1191, Tacoma 1 Washington USA"
"Made in Italy By IMAC, AGARDONE V. I." could be V. T.
"Mercury Super Grade"
"Accaio Speciale SIAU"
"Canne Cromate"

If anyone has any ideas regarding this gun, please advise.

Are you looking to buy the exact gun that was in the original posting? Need pics to give a value. It could be by any number of Italian gun makers, many of which are no longer around. It could be a basic, low quality $300.00 gun or maybe worth $2000.00. I would bet on the lower end though.

I have had a similar double barrel 10 gauge magnum, with 32" full and full barrels for over 50 years and have hunted everything from foxes to coyotes to water fowel with it without a problem. My gun is Spanish made and it is a MERCURY brand shotgun with silver engraving on the receiver. Even th3e screws are engraved. I have been shooting 2.5 ounce loads of copper and nickel plated and buffered shot in the gun; the recoil is fierce, but it kills geese at 90 yards!

You might try Richland Arms of Blissfield , Michigan for the source for your gun; they may still be in business. They imported an excellent line of shotguns made in Europe.

Best regards,
