I recently purchased a miroku o/u in 28ga the gun is in excellent shape and handles well with good wood and metal fit and finish,any idea of the worth and history of such gun.thanks

Serial Number, NRA rating (what kind of shape), any of it redone?

The serial is aprox 232238 orig butt plate finish and round knob semi pistol It seems like good grade wood also.

Values can be approximately figured by comparing a Miroku shotgun of similar gauge, features, engraving,wood, and condition to an equivalent Japanese Charles Daly model.

Most of the Miroku marked shotguns were made to test the marketability prior to their contracts with CD, Browning, etc.
