First off, Modifying should only be done by a professional. I am not jumping on you or anything, so please don't take it that way. The Federal Firearms law says that possesion of a shotgun under 18 inches is illegal. Now if you are gonna keep it in your home that is fine, but just be careful in what you do. I really don't blame you there, I am looking at having a gun fixed of mine too, I have the postings of the JC Higgins, what do u think about getting a Full Choke Fixed barrel bored out and get a screw in choke system installed?
