Mossberg 590?

2383 Views 8 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Anonymous
A local gun shop has a used Mossberg 590 with heat shield and bayo lug for sale. He said it had about 25 rounds put through it. He's asking $299 for it. If that's a good deal then I got to jump on it before someone else beats me to it. What do you guys think??? Thanks in advance.

From the looks of what I can find, $299 isn't a bad price for a gun that's only had 25 rounds through it. Looks like they've been running between $350-$400 online.
Seems like a good price if it is low-mileage like he says it is. If the shotgun looks good with a little honest wear --- there should be VERY little wear if it has only had about 25 rounds through it! --- but no abuse, I'd buy it. 25 rounds is NOTHING and being "used" will save you a nice chunk of change.
Thanks guys. I sent my wife down there yesterday to put a deposit on it so he'll put it on layaway and hold it for me. So maybe it will join the rest of the family in a couple of weeks. Thanks again.

Hi - Just to confirm. I just bought a NIB Mossberg 590 at auction for $325, which was a good price. I think the price you are paying is OK.

I bought one new at an Academy spoting goods store just outside of Houston Texas for $219 (before tax). Where are you guys getting yours?

I got an amazing deal at a show a few weeks ago on a used 590 in good condition. It came with a Surefire Responder, rifle sights, parkerized barrel, and Speedfast stock for $165!

Have fun and be safe with it. I love mine.
